I left school at 16 to embark on an apprenticeship in hair dressing after being a Saturday girl at a local salon for 2 years previously to that.

I loved and still love all aspects of hair and have especially enjoyed watching our industry grow from strength to strength.

I am passionate about staying top of my game by continually educating myself and moving with the times, which gives my clients an incredible experience. 🙌

I am level 3 qualified with 26 years of experience under my belt. I’ll never stop learning and developing my skill set within the industry, that’s for sure! 👌

Outside of my hairy world I have 3 young children, a puppy and a husband, and I love family days out, long walks and holidays. Travel is big on my to-do list, in fact I met my husband in Australia 18 years ago! I also love going to the theatre and meeting friends for nights out.

I opened the doors to Salon No. 100 three years ago in May 2021 after Covid-19 and have never looked back. I love the little boutique environment we’ve created: A safe, relaxing space where everyone is welcome. We pride ourselves on a friendly atmosphere, fabulous hair and a great coffee for you to switch off and be pampered for a few hours.

My hairdressing journey started when I was in secondary school where I took hairdressing as one of my GCSE options and discovered a passion for hairdressing. After leaving school at 16 I applied for a hairdressing apprenticeship at FG, a well known company, and I started my first job in a salon as an apprentice.

I commuted to Stafford and Birmingham, where I attended their hairdressing academies and absorbed all of the knowledge and experience I could. I left my first salon after 2 years with my level 2 hairdressing qualification nearly in the bag, and came to Salon No. 100 where I started my level 3 qualification to build on my knowledge and develop my skill set.

Alongside this I started to build my lovely client base that I am loving building on. I’ve begun to gain confidence and experience and relish the challenges I’m faced with. Bring it on! 🤪

I am now a fully qualified level 3 hair stylist and am really enjoying growing my clientele and evolving my knowledge and skill set on a daily basis.

My favourite service is my signature balayage to create a lived in look or dimensional pops. I love working on long hair and creating long layered haircuts like a butterfly cut. I also love a graduated bob.

I especially like when a client expresses how comfortable they feel in my chair and that they feel like they have found their forever salon.
